A little interesting about space life.

The "lunar effect" is a term used to make a correlation between specific stages of the Earth's lunar cycle and deviant behavior in humans and possibly even animals. This is a pseudoscientific theory, which is one based on science but having no real scientific proof. It is also a theory studied within the realms of sociology, psychology and physiology and has for many centuries been a topic of studies and beliefs. Even the term "lunacy" is derived from the name Luna, a Roman moon goddess.

How am I so sure of this? Simple. Because I've personally been using the moon to my advantage for more than 20 years, and know how effective it is. Have you ever had one of those epic days fishing where it seemed like no matter what you threw in the water, you caught fish? If you have, it was more than likely due to the fact that the moon was in a certain phase, rather than your skills as an angler (I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but it's true).

In July 2017, a team of astronomers announced that they had used satellite data to find--for the first time--signs of widespread water hidden beneath ancient volcanic material on Earth's Moon. The scientists' discovery suggests that the interior of our Moon holds large quantities of indigenous water. This plentiful, but well-hidden water, reveals its secret presence in numerous volcanic deposits, that had been explosively distributed across our Moon's surface when ancient lunar volcanoes erupted. These primordial deposits contain unusually large amounts of imprisoned water compared with nearby terrains. The detection of water within these lunar deposits, is believed to be made up of glass beads that formed as a result of the explosive fiery eruption of magma, hurled out from deep within our Moon. This finding supports the theory that the lunar mantle is surprisingly soggy.

"The good news is that our models show that observations of a wet Moon are not incompatible with a Giant Impact origin," Dr. Nakajima explained in the February 26 2018 Carnegie Institution Press Release.



However, the theory that has long been held to be the most likely explanation is the giant impact theory, suggesting that the Mars-sized body named Theia smashed into the ancient Earth billions of years ago. The monumental blast resulted in a portion of the primordial Earth's crust to be hurled off screaming into Space. This ancient catastrophe tossed a multitude of somersaulting moonlets into the sky, and some of this material was ultimately captured into orbit around the ancient Earth about 4.5 billion years ago, where it finally was pulled together by the force of gravity to become the Moon.



The scientists then went on to determine that the lunar birthday must have occurred approximately 95 million years after the formation of our Solar System--give or take about 32 million years.
