Curious facts about cosmic life and their inhabitants.
Though a moon day is equivalent to 28 earth days, surprisingly, the biological day cycle of the moon people is 24 earth hours. This shows that their biological clock has nothing to do with the sun rise and sun set in the moon. Perhaps the 24 hour period of time may be a unique biological 'interval of renewal' that nature has given to all human species. Usually moon people sleep about eight hours a day at "any time of convenience" and remain active during most of the remaining hours. The "time of convenience" varies for each individual. As a result of not having a particular day or night time, there are always people awake and active all of the time. Therefore, all community based activities take place all the time and continuously without stoppage. There are no holiday systems practiced in the moon. Every day is a working day and every hour is an active hour. Every hour is also a sleeping hour to whoever desires to consider it that way.
and here is another
"Prior to the Hubble observations, nobody appreciated the intricate dynamics of the Pluto system," Dr. Mark Showalter explained in a June 3, 2015 HST Press Release. Dr. Showalter is of the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute in Mountain View, California. He is lead author of the Nature paper.
However, the truth is more prosaic. As it is on Earth, landscape of the Moon is not perfectly flat. Because of the uneven surface with bumps and small hills, shadows cast on different vertical angles had also large horizontal angular differences. On the photo above, shadows of the lunar module and the rocks point in slightly different directions. However, the lunar module is standing on flat ground and the rocks are located on a small bump(similar setting has been also recreated by the Mythbusters, proving the conspiracy wrong)

The more recently obtained data concerning the Red Planet comes from seven active probes that either roam the Martian surface or orbit around the planet. The seven spacecraft include a quintet of orbiters and a duo of rovers. This collection includes 2001 Mars Odyssey, Mars Express, Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter, MAVEN, Mars Orbiter Mission, Opportunity, and Curiosity.
There are more than 100 moons in orbit around the eight major planets of our Sun's family. Most of them are frozen worlds, primarily composed of ice with a smattering of rocky material, circling the four giant gaseous planets dwelling in the outer regions of our Solar System--Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. The inner region of our Solar System is almost completely devoid of moons. Earth's own lovely Moon is the largest one in our inner region of the Sun's family. Of the four rocky and relatively petite inner worlds that circle nearest to our Star--Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars--Mercury and Venus are moonless, while Mars is orbited by two lumpy and misshapen small moons, Phobos and Deimos, that are most likely captured asteroids that originated in the Main Asteroid Belt that orbits our Sun between Mars and Jupiter.
"We think that the giant planets got their satellites kind of like the Sun got its planets, growing like miniature solar systems and ending with a stage of final collisions," lead author Dr. Erik Asphaug, of the University of California at Santa Cruz, said in a statement to the press on October 18, 2012.
