It is important to know at any age!
Unlike on earth, no behavioral differences are found amongst people in the various localities. As a normal practice the vast majority of people do not reside at a fixed location. Living in a particular locality is not the habitual practice and around 90% of the adults are on the move all the time in groups of thousands. This is very similar in occurrence to the migrations of herds of animals in the African continent but in the moon, migration is an ever ongoing event that never ends. The actual reason for this habitual behavior is not known. Coming down from the distant past, the resident time at any one place is fixed at an interval of fourteen earth days. After stay at one place for fourteen days, the journey continues on to the next destination. The period of walking to the next destination also lasts another fourteen earth days thus equaling the number of days of stay at a place. As a result of this particular walking and staying pattern, most of the city centers have naturally got established at equal distances apart. The cities are approximately 150 miles apart. As the moon people walk in similar fashion to how Neil Armstrong walked on the moon, walking seems to be a pretty easy and fun activity. Once they are in a city, the members of a group have the option of deciding on their next destination city. The adjacent cities are situated in seven radiating directions from each city. For thousands of years the groups have ritualistically dispersed in seven directions for some reason not actually known. Selecting the next city, and therefore the new direction to continue the journey are individual choices. Because of this unique ancient habitual selection of traveling along the seven directions all city centers were situated at the corners of a heptagonal interwoven spherical grid configuration. By about the 6th to 8th days into their intercity traveling, each group meets others traveling in the opposite direction. When this happens they greet each other, pass gestures like "high fives", share their food, chit chat, nudge and push each other gently to have a little bit of fun and to reinforce their togetherness.
and here is another
The team also considered whether it would be possible to determine, with an adequate degree of certainty, if a detected moon could bear life-loving liquid water. In their analysis, the "input" climate for the moon is habitable, which is identified with high probability. However, there still remains approximately a one in six failure rate.
Earth's lunar companion is thought to have been born about 4.51 billion years ago, according to a recent study. This means that our Moon was born soon after Earth's formation in the primeval Solar System. The average distance of Earth's Moon from our planet is about 238,900 miles--or approximately 1.28 light-seconds--and it is in synchronous rotation with Earth, always showing the same face, with the near side famous for its beautiful bewitching dark volcanic maria (Latin for seas) that are situated between prominent impact craters and the bright, very ancient, crustal highlands. Our Moon's surface is actually quite dark, even though it appears in the sky at night to be very bright, with a reflectance only a bit higher than that of old asphalt. The prominent position of our Moon in our planet's night sky, as well as its regular cycle of phases, have made our nearest and dearest celestial companion a valuable cultural influence since ancient times in art, mythology, language, and on calendars.

Moon Goddess Receives the Latest at New Moon Time. At the New Moon time, the Moon Goddess is positioned directly between Mother Earth and the Sun. This is when the Moon Goddess discovers the latest that the Sun is experiencing in its travels through a new band in the sky. It is when the Moon Goddess's back side is being fully illuminated by the Sun's emissions for a twenty four hour period, beginning twelve hours before the actual encounter and lasting for twelve hours afterward.
Songs, poems, odes, reveries. The Moon has been the subject of endless adoration since the beginning of time. Mysterious and changeable, sometimes occulted by clouds or (gasp!) the Earth itself, our satellite, our iridescent child, the Moon floats suspended in the sky, enticing us to dream, to wonder, to reflect. To garden in the moonlight, to walk in the woods with the moon shining through foliage or bare branches, whenever we have the chance to have her silvery light embrace us we know we are being touched by the hand of the divine feminine and we are blessed.
During a Solar eclipse, when the Moon is New (both the Sun and the Moon in the same sign) the Moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, blocking out some of the Sun's energy. This eclipse will be total across parts of India and China. I saw a total eclipse years ago in Helena, Montana and I'm telling you, it was worth the trip! The air became very still and there was an eerie feeling of something happening that was so much bigger than us wee humans! Dogs were doing the low howly-growl, intensifying the primal feeling of our collective vulnerability. Such is the energy of an eclipse.
